Fraud Warning and Reminders

Be on the look out for fraud.

Members are reporting fraudulent phone calls claiming to be from FDIC. They want you to move your funds to them, claiming it is safer. This kind of call is ALWAYS  a red flag. 

Please remain vigilant when safeguarding your financial information. Fraudsters are increasingly impersonating credit unions, government agencies, and other trusted organizations through phone calls, text messages, emails, and social media.

Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Payment Service Monitoring

To enhance account security, reduce fraud exposure, and mitigate financial risk, Empower Blue Credit Union has implemented a new process to monitor Peer-to-Peer (P2P) payment activity, including services such as Venmo, Cash App, and similar platforms.

Card Rewards Program

Don't forget about your rewards. Our VISA debit card and Visa credit card earn reward points. The more you shop and swipe the more you earn. Each card needs to be registered and each owner needs a user for the points program. All family members in a household will see that their points get combined. This allows quicker accumulation so you can cash in on bigger prizes.
