Job Title: Credit Union Teller
Department: Member Service
Reports To: Lead MSR
Job Summary
The Credit Union Teller provides efficient, accurate, and friendly service to members by processing financial transactions, answering inquiries, and promoting credit union products. This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy in handling cash and financial instruments, and a professional, solutions-focused attitude.
Key Responsibilities
Transaction Processing:
Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and other member transactions accurately and efficiently. Maintain and balance cash drawer daily.
Member Service:
Greet and assist members in person and by phone. Provide information on products, services, and card support. Refer members to appropriate departments as needed.
Compliance & Security:
Follow credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (including BSA). Identify and report suspicious activity.
Additional Duties:
Assist with new accounts, check orders, and cross-selling of products. Maintain a clean, organized workspace and complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: Minimum 1 year of cash handling and customer service experience

Cash Handling & Accuracy: Strong math skills and attention to detail
Customer Service: Problem solving, communication, reliability, and teamwork
Technical: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, data entry, and typing
Personal Attributes: Honesty, discretion, and a positive attitude
